In Good Company:

A Restorative Circle for Pre-Licensed LGBTQIA2S+ Affirming Clinicians

Lighten the load - Come as you are

This offering is for pre-licensed clinicians and trainees who are supporting LGBTQIA2S+ communities while navigating the early years of clinical work.

The beginning stages of this profession can be both meaningful and demanding and are often shaped by uncertainty, pressure to “get it right,” and moments of feeling alone in the work. This circle is a space to step out of that pressure and into something more honest and relational.

What You’re Invited to Let Go of Here

You’re invited to let go of the pressure to have things figured out, to perform as a clinician, or to get it “right.” This isn’t a space for supervision or case consultation, but for reflection, presence, and connection.

A Place to Land

This is a lightly facilitated, confidential space for connection and reflection.

You’re invited to bring what feels real in your experience as a clinician - whether that’s uncertainty, care, fatigue, curiosity, or something harder to name.

What to Expect

The space is intentionally lightly structured.

We will begin with a brief grounding and orientation, followed by open sharing. Themes often emerge organically and may include:

  • Navigating uncertainty and self-doubt

  • The emotional impact of clinical work

  • Identity and authenticity in the therapy room

  • The broader sociopolitical climate and its effects on clinicians and clients

There is no requirement to speak. Listening is equally welcome.
